Seriously, spoilers. Final warning!

Alright, assuming all of you who are remaining don't mind a bit of spoilage- here's what I've been hearing around the boards about Cairne and his fate come Cataclysm. He does die, and by the sounds of it Garrosh -does- deal the killing blow. But it's not a cold hearted execution, Cairne and Garrosh are having a duel, possibly over a disagreement or perhaps Garrosh is "trialing" all his faction leaders to see if they're worthy to lead. But Cairne has been poisoned by the Grimtotems to make him weak and cause even the slightest of blows a potentially lethal one. They discover that the Grimtotems and Magatha were behind it, and have actually made a move to take over Thunder Bluff now that it's leader is dead. Garrosh gets pissed, and leads a full on invasion to reclaim the Bluffs. That's right, rumor has it there'll be a Battle for Thunder Bluff just like there was a Battle for Undercity.
Now, this next part has been confirmed via screen shot and quest links. I'm not sure if it's before or after the supposed betrayal, but the Alliance have made an allegiance with the Grimtotems in Stonetalon, going so far as arming them with weapons (yea, there's screens of grim's running around with the old Alliance pvp weapons) to try and get a foothold closer to the major Horde settlements. Now, from an IC aspect? I don't think Nishk will be the only one with re-sparked Alliance hatred come the end of this. I know a lot of IPA characters like to take the neutral-defender when it comes to the factions, but this is without a doubt a good reason to take up arms and go on the aggressive. ESPECIALLY if the Alliance have a direct hand in arming the Grimtotems for their attempt to seize control of the Bluffs.
