Following is a list of addons available that may be helpful with your roleplaying needs.

FlagRSP2 - http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addo ... -rsp2.aspx
MyRolePlay - http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addo ... -play.aspx
Total RP - http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addo ... alrp2.aspx
These are various addons which allow you to create, among other things, a window to describe your character's physical characteristics. The description is viewable by anyone else who also has any of these three addons.

SpeakinSpell - http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addo ... spell.aspx
Uses random speeches in chat to announce when you use spells and other abilities, as well as items, procced effects, other events, and user-defined macros. Works with all classes. Configurable for many different situations.

Babel - http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addo ... babel.aspx
Not updated since 1/2010, it is still a functioning addon. This addon allows you to switch languages with one simple click instead of leafing through a menu to do it. It also allows you to choose which game channels will and will not language change when you use it. Therefore, you can set it up to never language change in /raid while it will language change only in /say.

Broker_NameToggle - http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addo ... oggle.aspx
Last update was 8/2010, it is still functioning. Allows you to easily toggle player names on and off with one click, as well as selectively chose what aspects of the names you want to show, like only showing opposite faction names or NPC names.

Storyteller - http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addo ... eller.aspx
Last update was 9/2009, it is still functioning. Allows your character to easily tell a story. With each successive mouse click it will spool a prepared story, line by line, into a selected chat.

Gryphonheart Items - http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addo ... s/ghi.aspx
This addon allows you to create your own items which can be shared and traded with anyone else who has the addon. Note - this addon is not used among the guild.

Outfitter - http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addo ... itter.aspx
Itemrack - http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/i ... clysm.html
Yes, there is the equipment manager in game. But both of these are offered as alternatives because they have extra features which may be desired.

If anyone knows of any other useful RP addons, please feel free to mention them. Also if you know of any changes to the status of these addons, also let us know.

I'm currently using Myroleplay for my character data, it's so nice to see others with some version of character data. I love being @ a roleplay event and popping up other PC's. :D Some people abuse it.. giving away way too much information or using the character physical description to show thoughts and whatnot, but other than that, it's nifty. Also, when you see someone using these you automatically know they ARE a roleplayer. I wonder though if it would show up with other server PC's when grouped in a random?

I'm fiddling with Gryphonheart now. . . . mostly to pawn kosmetics with my Goblin. It could be a *very* cool tool to use for Shu'halo ceremonies and pow wows. It's been interesting working with it. You can make just about anything for anything - including special mail and bags for items you or others trade/create.

Storyteller is amazing too. Makes blah'ing so much more fun and easy and removes the chances of having major typos! :P

Thanks for posting this, Red! I'm going to check out some of the others you listed.

I'm not too keen on Gryponheart myself only because it requires everyone to have the addon to make it useful. And I hate telling people YOU MUST HAVE THIS ADDON OR ELSE NO FUN FOR YOU!

Fire, just download the zip files. Unzip them or just double click it. Then copy all those files into your World of Warcraft addon subfolder. Like this.

World of Warcraft --> Interface --> Addons --> Paste files in here.

When you log into WoW, in the character select screen, bottom right corner you'll see "Addon" Click on that and make sure its checked and you also check the "enable out of date addons" box in the upper right corner of that screen. Then you're all set.

It's odd that you don't have an AddOns folder. You could try creating one yourself. Here's a link to the sticky on the WoW forum on installing addons; in posts 1 and 3 you can find information about the correct location for your operating system to put the folder.
