“They’ve been watching you.”

That is all the note said. There is nothing more attached to a long, thin plainly wrapped package that has come your way. No name, no address, nothing. You don’t know where it came from, you don’t recognize the handwriting on the note, and you don’t know who “They” are. But when you open the package you find sheets of paper filled with information about you.

“They” HAVE been watching.

((What does your dossier say about your character? A fun little twist, maybe not even a fully accurate one, on how to explain the history of your character  ))

NAMES & ALIASES: Red Earth of the Blackhide; AKA Matriarch of the Ishnu Por Ah; AKA Meshkwahki in her Taurahe Dialect; Childhood name, Painted or Omiskobi

FAMILY HISTORY: A member of the Swifthorn tribe and the family Blackhide. Eldest daughter of Dark Sky (father, now deceased), shaman and clan elder, and White Hoof (mother), hunter. One sibling, a younger sister, Kick Feather.

HISTORY & ACTIVITY BRIEF:
Appearing in Mulgore not long after Thunder Bluff was established, this Tauren travelled alone until becoming involved with a social occasion in Ashenvale hosted by a Kal’dorei named Aroree. Started out as an open invitation walk no matter the faction, the event became seen as an effort for peace between the Horde and Alliance as both Aroree and Red Earth rose to become its figureheads, refusing to fight against any who would attempt to harm them during these nightly walks. However, growing friction between the two factions resulting in open warfare in Ashenvale, as well as assassination attempts on both of them, and a growing difference of opinion as to what the Walks were about caused a split in the event which eventually led to its demise after four months.

During this period, she became acquainted with the group Ishnu Por Ah (IPA) through an intimate relationship with one of its founding members, a Tauren warrior named Getharn. Though involved in a few of their early activities and courted to join their ranks a few times, she refused to join until sometime after the death of her father. She moved up in prominence within the IPA, gaining shared leadership with Feren Longstrider, its founder, and eventually becoming sole leader of the group when personal reasons forced him to step down. Presently, she is still leader and is known as the Matriarch.

Though the reasons for Feren’s removal are somewhat mysterious and tragic, there seems to be no foul play involved in the takeover. Also the current whereabouts of Getharn are unknown and he is presumed dead, lost in the battles within Blackrock Mountain. Red Earth has had no further love interest, though she is fanatically pursued by an eccentric Forsaken warrior named Abominus.

As a member, she continued to call for peace. However, under her leadership, Ishnu Por Ah also became a more Tauren focused group, as she advocated the Will of the Earthmother and the preservation and sovereignty of the Tauren nation. These sentiments are not surprising as she does not consider herself a member of the Horde. This stems from the beliefs of her home tribe who have refused to ally themselves with the Horde for fear of losing their Tauren cultural identity. So the majority of the Swifthorn remain nomadic, separate from the society and politics of the Horde. Red Earth is known to return to visit them at least once or twice a year.

As a shaman, she is considered a special circumstance by her tribe. Tribe tradition dictates that those in the Blackhide family born with pure black fur are meant to be the Swifthorn shaman. Red Earth, whose fur is red, was discovered to hear the call of the Spirits and apprenticed under her father. She now lives apart from her tribe as they believe her differences determined she was not to live among them. It is believed that this separation has made her faith in the Earthmother’s guidance paramount to her actions and teachings and her reliance on visions unwavering.

In her early years, she was overwhelmed by these visions. But after spending time in the Outlands with the Mag’har of Nagrand, she seems to have a better control of their effects on her. It is also in her years in the Outlands that this “simple shaman”, as she calls herself, rose to become a leader of war parties. It is believed that this development and the following participation in the battles against the Lich King in Northrend are the seed for the more militant attitude that she now seems to be developing in concerns to the protection of Mulgore and her drive to bring prominence back to the IPA which has weakened in the aftermath of Lich King’s defeat and the eruption of the Cataclysm.

Her strong belief in the Earthmother causes her to despise Fel magic in any form. Her belief that all people of Azeroth are Children of the Earthmother compel her to attempt to treat them all with compassion and fairness. This is juxtaposed with her traditional tribal upbringing which makes her biased towards the ‘voice’ of the Earthmother and the Tauren people before any other people or nation, Horde or otherwise.

THREAT ASSESSMENT: The impact of her activities have had their effect, though nothing broad or long lasting. But she is able to build strong ties which has garnered respected friends over the years from both factions, has allowed her to absorb different members from now defunct groups such as the Horntotem Tribe and the Mt. Hyjal Alliance, and retain relationships with former members of the IPA like ranking members of the suspiciously entrepreneurial Razortalons. Also with her independent stance, a growing militant attitude and past accounts of erratic behavior based on her calling, the seeds are there for something to occur. She should continue to be watched.

NAME(S): Kick Feather of the Blackhide; Full name-Kicks the Feather Walking

FAMILY HISTORY:Swifthorn tribe, family Blackhide. Youngest daughter of Dark Sky (father, now deceased), shaman and clan elder, and White Hoof (mother), hunter. One sibling, an elder sister, Red Earth

ACTIVITY BRIEF:Kickfeather left her tribe in pursuit of her sister, Red Earth, of whom she has shown to be very protective. Her concerns were not unfounded as after a few months of search she found herself helping her sister’s then lover, Getharn, rescue her from the quillboar who had captured her while she was in a state of visionary delusion. It was also with a troll witch doctor’s aid-Hrookzhin, then leader of Da Doctas-that Kickfeather was able to be reunited with her sister. Because of this, she joined Da Doctas to help pay off the debt she owed to Dr. Hrookzhin for helping her save her sister’s life.

As a Protector, she stayed happily with Da Doctas for several months. Then a dispute between Hrookzhin’s daughter, Arjah, and Kickfeather arose. The dispute stemmed from Arjah’s accusations that Red Earth hated and tried to kill the troll, something Red Earth flatly denied. Kickfeather sided with her sister and challenged Arjah for spreading such “dishonorable” rumors. When Hrookzhin would not help resolve the issue, Kickfeather then left the service of Da Doctas considering her debt paid and joined the Ishnu Por Ah, a Tauren focused group which her sister now led.

Kickfeather is a young, strong warrior. After joining the Ishnu Por Ah, she resumed the protective role of her sister. This spread to any of the Ishnu Por Ah whom she considers a second family. She has been known to offer to “take care of” and “beat up” any who threatened any member of IPA in anyway. As far as we know, she has never had to carry out such threats. She also aided the Horde in their struggle to maintain their borders and protect their resources and so was seen frequenting battles at Warsong Gulch, Alterac Valley and Arathi. When many went to the Outlands after the Dark Portal reopened, Kickfeather stayed behind to continue to protect the home front. When the Lich King arose to attack the nations of Azeroth, Kickfeather joined the multitude of armies and headed to Northrend.

She is known to have a very wild nature, acting before thinking. Some have called her crazy. She has shown to have an extreme curiosity, quite naïve about things outside her tribal education, though her years spent in the Horde lands has taught her much. She is never shy, her nature is certainly brash and she shows no fear in battle. But she seems to have a strong sense of honor and a deep respect for her faith and those she calls family, especially her sister whose words she lives by. This has helped temper any extreme actions she may have or will take.

THREAT ASSESSMENT : Though sharing the faith of her sister in the Earthmother, it is not as fanatical. And though she is a berserker in battle, there is no record of her being a danger to any she does not consider the enemy. Alone she is not a threat. She is, however, deeply loyal to her sister and many of her actions stem from what her sister advises. And so may be considered a deadly instrument, a ‘right-hand man', in whatever machinations her sister may devise.

NAME: Farainasha Softwind
AGE: Mid-20s
FAMILY HISTORY: Only daughter of Awenye, hunter (deceased) and Palline, shamaness. Also raised by grandmother Eyolojah, shamaness (deceased).
ACTIVITY BRIEF: Raised in the Barrens by an outcast family, Fara's father disappeared when she was quite young. Was sent to Red Cloud to begin her shamanistic training when she came of age. Joined the ranks of the Ishnu Por Ah and continued to train in the ways of healing. Completed training in troll shamanism under the tutelage of Zul'Zebogo Hidutahan'jin before one of his journeys to the ancestral world. Attempted to find and save her father from the enslavement of one, Drysoul. Avenged father's death by killing Drysoul. Retired to Thunder Bluff after her tour of Outland in order to better care for her ailing mother. Has kept up with her studies of herbology and alchemy, and recently began retraining to wield the powers of the elements. Considering coming out of retirement to aid the Ishnu Por Ah in their forthcoming war against the Alliance for the atrocities committed in the Barrens.

THREAT ASSESSMENT: Extremely shy, mild-mannered, out of practice. Knows nearly no one outside of her Ishnu family. Farainasha doesn't pose a threat at present but may grow to be a problem as her studies continue and the Ishnu prepares for war.

NAME: Jindall (family name unknown)

FAMILY HISTORY: Parents deceased. Sharis (sister, whereabouts unknown). Threewinds (brother-in-law, whereabouts unknown).

ACTIVITY BRIEF: Jindall joined the ranks of the Horntotem as a defender of Mulgore. Whenever there was an attack in Mulgore, he and the other members in HT would return to Bloodhoof Village and begin the search for the attacker. He was eventually awarded the title of “Senior Sergeant” in the defense of various horde occupied territory during his travels, a recognition he did not ask for.

In the past, various members of the horde often sought his gifted healing abilities. He would aid those that called for him, never turning away anyone.

In time, Jindall learned that his sister was alive. He always felt comfortable whenever he was around Sharis, but didn’t know why. (Sharis was also a member of HT and eventually married the leader, Threewinds. See dossier on HT for more information). It was through a spiritual ceremony that connected the dots; he thought he lost her when they got separated during a centaur attack.

Harnessing the power of the arcane, Jindall mastered the moonkin form. Things fell apart shortly after acquiring the form. He left the HT. Afterwards, the members of HT dispersed and their whereabouts are unknown. (See dossier on HT for more information).

He later was accepted as a member of Ishnu por Ah. Unbeknown to the members of IPA, his owlkin form took a toll on his mind. Jindall randomly unleashed hurricanes on top of Thunder Bluff at various times of days, scaring random civilians and passersby. One day, he committed suicide in front of various members of IPA; jumping off the Spirit Rise, he grabbed Avaryne with him as he jumped. His body broke her fall. His suicide was not fatal. To this day, he regrets his actions and has never used the moonkin form again. No one speaks of that day. Jindall tends to keep to himself since that event. (This knowledge can be used to incite the tauren.)

Ever since he returned, Jindall used his power of the bear to help defend and attack those that try to harm his friends. He used his druid powers in Outlands and Northrend; eventually the eruption of the Cataclysm dictated he returned home to Desolace where he aided the Cenarion Circle.

THREAT ASSESSMENT: It is safe to assume that this bull is hostile when it is necessary, otherwise approachable by anybody. However, should this tauren ever revert back to his owlkin form, both horde and alliance should keep their distance. It is unknown how Jindall would behave; based on the past, he could be very dangerous to everyone and we recommend taking him out before he harms anyone.

NAME: Blackwolf Grimtotem
AGE: 23
FAMILY HISTORY: Son of Hawkeye Grimtotem (Deceased mother) (Father is unknown)
ACTIVITY BRIEF: Raised in a Grimtotem village near Taurajo, he grew very close with the people there, and more than once thought of leaving the Grim for good. When a Warlord of the Grimtotem, Orom, heard that his mother was going to assist him, Orom slew her in front of his eyes. He then fled the village and headed to Narache, brandishing the name Firereader, as one of his main abilities was just that. Recently he avenged his mother's death by slaying Orom Grimtotem in battle, and since then has been calmer and more at peace.

THREAT ASSESSMENT: Very calm and loving to his friends and is known by some as a "Big Softie". However, once enraged, very little can calm him down.

((was this good or bad? please give feedback))

((Might be a little rough but I will get better at the story telling :) I promise))

Names & Aliases: Masax of the Thornhoof; Druid of Moonglade; Traveller of Ishnu Por Ah

Family History: A son of the Thornhoof family, members of the Wildmane Tribe. The rest of the Thornhoof family has been lost to time. Proudly a druid of Moonglade and the Wildmane Tribe. One recently found brother has made contact with Masax though they have not yet met. He has only identified himself as a son of Thornhoof.

History & Activity Brief: Returning to Thunder Bluff from Moonglade after his teachings in the druidic arts. Seeking to regain his connection to his people and searching for other Druids to learn from he came across a meeting between two more prominent members of the Ishnu Por Ah; Red Earth, and Jindall Longstrider. After some discussions about what they were planning to do for the Tauren people he became interested in aiding their causes.

While understanding the need for defending their people from outside attacks by the Alliance and other waring tribes, Masax believes that peace can and must be reached if all life on Kalimdor is to be balanced. Though he may dislike the idea of openly charging into battle, Masax will defend his new family and those who are being placed in harms way with all the ferocity of his druid training.

Leaving for Moonglade early in his life Masax finds it hard to remember much of his family the Thornhoof. Though there is much searching to be done he hopes to eventually recall more. He recalls his family following the Wildmane tribe, and as a druid his skills have allowed him to return to the Bluff and take part in some of their gatherings. Masax is lost on where to begin searching for the information he wishes he still had for the family he once belonged too. Many nights in Moonglade meditating and odd attempt in entering and finding answers in the Dream have not allowed him to gain much of this knowledge. A strange note delivered to Innkeeper Pala on the Bluff where Masax has been staying has offered some hope. A lost brother wishes to make contact but hasn't left him with many answers as of yet. Only that he exists and his traveling to Thunder Bluff.

Threat Assessment: Masax has been more interested in the past on aiding the recovery of the land and communing with the Earthmother. Lately with his entrance into Ishnu Por Ah he has made some new connections and wishes to strengthen those relationships. Still fairly reclusive, being able to openly discuss his past, or even interact with others is a challenge at times. Frustration gets the upper hand and he embraces the forms of his teachings and simply loses himself to nature.

NAMES & ALIASES: Feren Longstrider AKA; Fallen Patriach of Ishnu Por Ah; AKA Longstrider

FAMILY HISTORY: No surviving family. Rumors of a recently deceased sister, but leads dead end. Difficult to trace to before his rebirth as a Death Knight.

HISTORY & ACTIVITY BRIEF:
History difficult to track to before his rebirth as a Death Knight. Was a founding member of Ishnu Por Ah and Patriarch for some time. Rumor and conjecture only as to why he left / was exiled. Still has extremely tenuous ties with some members. Involvement with a Troll is rumored, but unconfirmed. Originally trained as a Warrior, but took on the mantle of Shaman for some time prior to death. Details on subject's death are inconclusive. Since "re-awakening" after rebirth, subject has shown several Shamanic tendencies and habits, through (obviously) lacking the mystical / magical abilities. Herbalist and Miner by trade. Recently returned from an extended, apparently self-imposed exile in the Outlands. Rarely seen without Netherwing Drake companion.

THREAT ASSESSMENT: Minimal. While occasionally involved in skirmishes, it is rare. Takes odd jobs for various groups, but does not seem to bear a strong loyalty to any group save the Tauren. Few, if any, ties.

NAMES: Kaeevanrash Winterhoof, Kaeevanrash of the Stormspeakers, 'Kaeev'

FAMILY HISTORY: Only child of Lohtas Winterhoof (father, hunter, deceased) and Saeuna Dawnstrider (mother, shaman, deceased). Part of a collection of Winterhoof and Dawnstrider families. Married to Karoa (huntress, formerly of the Windchasers).

HISTORY & ACTIVITY BRIEF:
Kaeev's parents were old when he was born, and so they departed this world while he was still very young. In his youth, he began training as a holy strider for his people until his spiritual gifts manifested. Those gifts manifested miraculously but late, and for some more years remained dormant until Kaeev had a chance meeting with a traveling shaman named Grennan, then chieftain of a group of shamans known as the Stormspeakers.

Grennan’s ability and wisdom inspired Kaeev. Grennan, too, had interest in the young one, and Kaeev was presented with the opportunity to come under the chieftain’s tutelage, to become a Stormspeaker himself. Kaeev accepted, and the two became close friends over the years, despite their age difference. In truth, Grennan had become a fatherly figure to Kaeev, filling a void that had remained largely empty since Lohtas and Saeuna had left this world.

With the defeat of the Burning Legion and the eventual routing of the centaur from Mulgore, Kaeev's family accepted the protection of the Horde and were allowed to permanently settle in Mulgore. In exchange for this, his family was one among many asked by Cairne Bloodhoof, on behalf of the Warchief Thrall, to provide one male or female from each tribe in the family to join the ranks of the Horde’s armies. Seeing this as another opportunity to put his gifts to good use, and hoping that by his heritage he could alone satisfy the requirement for both Winterhoof and Dawnstrider, Kaeev selflessly volunteered to join without consulting Grennan first. Grennan reluctantly consented later. Thus, as Kaeev had hoped, he enlisted as his family’s sole applicant.

Kaeev’s time in the Horde was difficult, though not so much because of physical hardship. With Grennan’s training, he excelled in his capacity to call lightning to strike his enemies, and also to call upon Water also to heal his allies. However, the often selfish or sinister motives in many of the orders given him, and the general lack of respect for his beliefs and for the land by those he served under or alongside, caused a sense of disillusionment to grow in him. These feelings only increased as the Horde’s efforts turned to Outland, and later to Northrend. Disillusionment grew to resentment, until finally he could not bear it any longer and simply 'quit'. With appeals to Horde leaders whom he knew were aware of his accomplishments and would likely understand his perspective, Kaeev was discharged honorably with his family’s debt considered satisfied.

The burden of this debt was lifted, but Kaeev felt he could not idle away his time at home. His service in the Horde had allowed him to see much of the turmoil abroad in the world, and he knew he could in some small way bring relief to that suffering, whether that involved seeking to heal the lands, or combat the true adversaries of the world. Now, he could do these things, and still take time to be with family at home.

It was in the midst of his free endeavors in Northrend that Kaeev met Karoa Windchaser, a huntress who shared in some of his pursuits. Their first meeting was rather brief and informal, but they would cross paths again soon after in the Grizzly Hills, where they pursued the undead Scourge together. Their hunts were many, and the two became close friends. As their journeys continued into Zul’drak and beyond, their friendship soon became a courtship.

While in Northrend, Kaeev also encountered the shu’halo of the tribe known as the “Ishnu Por Ah”. Intrigued, he shared in many of their hunts for a time until he became convinced that their beliefs were very much in line with his own, and he joined himself with them. Not long after his joining, what began as small seeds of love had grown and bloomed, and he proposed to Karoa. She accepted, and they were later married by Red Earth, Matriarch of the Ishnu Por Ah.

Kaeev had not forgotten his mentor and friend Grennan during those years. During his time in the Horde when able, and frequently after that time, Kaeev met and counseled with his now-aged chieftain and with the Stormspeaker tribe. Grennan, in turn, had not forgotten his student. The old chief could sense that Kaeev was becoming stronger and more mature with each meeting. And so, as he felt his time to leave this world was drawing near, Grennan called his small band of Stormspeakers and their respective families together and, to Kaeev’s surprise, announced that he would step down as chieftain, with Kaeev taking his place. The title of ‘chieftain’ was not an honor Kaeev actively sought, but he humbly accepted nonetheless.

Kaeev often felt inadequate in his ability to lead the Stormspeakers, and so he relied heavily on Grennan for guidance and counsel in many things. However, as the earth began to tremble and elementals appeared on the attack across the land, Kaeev’s mentor became ominously silent regarding what was happening and what was to come. Believing the silence to be a sort of test from his former chieftain, Kaeev did what he could to assuage the fears of his people, inspiring them to courage with words and prayers, and repelling the elemental invasions when they arose. But none of this could have prepared him for what did come. The destruction wrought by Deathwing’s subsequent return to the world, compounded by the death of Grennan in events immediately following, was almost too much for the young chieftain to bear. The anguish of the loss, known to but a precious few outside of the Stormspeakers, still hangs heavy on him for reasons also known to few. Notwithstanding this and the grave, new threats to this world and all he holds dear, Kaeev has not given up hope. He continues to fight alongside the Ishnu Por Ah in their efforts, and stays as true as he can to the legacy left behind by Grennan as he now leads the Stormspeakers alone.

THREAT ASSESSMENT: Moderate to high. Kaeevanrash, though still relatively young for a shu’halo, is battle-proven and stands among the foremost of Ishnu Por Ah’s protectors. His affinity to the powers of the storm is great; however, he is typically mild-mannered and tends to call upon such power with reserve. Consequently, the full extent of his ability is difficult to estimate. Treat with caution.

((I forgot to put a copy of Zak's dossier on IPA forums.))

NAME: Zakutazzar

FAMILY HISTORY: Unknown.

ACTIVITY BRIEF: Little is known about the hunter. Initial observation shows nothing peculiar about him. He seems to have a penchant for checking the mailbox every other hour. Apparently, this troll has a business relationship with someone in the horde. What kind of business? Who is the partner? We have no clue.

Between frequent naps and checking the mailbox, when did this troll pick up the enchanting profession? Did I doze off on the job after learning his napping schedule? We intercepted a package sent to the troll. Inside in the package were instructions to disenchant the items and sell them on the auction house. Any profits gained from the selling of all disenchanted materials were to be kept. Definitely an unwise business decision, unless the sender didn’t care for the gold. Sender’s name was nowhere found on the package. We carefully sealed and returned the package into the delivery system so it wouldn’t disrupt the timely arrival of said package.

In the wake of the Cataclysm, Zakutazzar has been more active in day-to-day business. He finally ventured out of Mulgore and went to work for various factions that requested aid. He recently entered the ranks of Ishnu Por Ah as a caretaker of some sort. I think it had to do with the collection of various pets and animals he had following him. Everyone has a use.

THREAT ASSESSMENT: Only dangerous if you consider one of his trait is to put pets to sleep by giving them a belly rub. Otherwise, he is quite harmless. His pets are more menacing than the troll.
