So, I'm not going to around for a bit since my laptop's been hit with some incredibly annoying Malware.
It's annoying pop-ups pretending to be a virus-scanner, telling me that my computer is en route to FIERY DOOM. It's really just trying to get me to punch in my Credit Card number and such into a false site.
Yea...the "product" telling me I have a virus is telling me I need to buy said "product" to remove it... Whoever designed this is an asshole and an idiot.

Anyway, I'll be MIA until I finish napalming my Harddrive, just in case it isn't just a virus designed to make pop ups that minimize all other programs at the moment to warn me about...well, it. Plus, the pop ups make playing INCREDIBLY annoying.

Red had something like that not too long ago. I fixed her computer by starting her computer in Safe Mode, in Safe Mode the popup thing wasn't activated. So on my computer I downloaded an anti-virus program, burnt it to disk, and used that to clean her computer while in Safe Mode. And that did the trick.

That thing was frickin' annoying. It wouldn't let me access anything. Everytime I tried openign up a program like, ya know, my malware anti virus stuff, it would block the opening screaming OMG YOU'RE INFECTED!

I got it while looking at Photobucket. Most likely from their Flash ads on their website. The only reason I know it was from there is because I opened up the site on my desktop and laptop at the same time and got it on both. Funny thing is, my laptop is a little buggy when things start downloading directly from websites sometimes and so the bugginess stopped it from taking over that whole computer. Ha.
