I'm curious as to how many of you folks here who still play WoW, do not have an authenticator? Don't be shy.

And speaking of getting haxed, I know some of us have contact information for other folks in the guild. I would like to know if some of you guys are willing to give one of us (or me) a contact number or some way of contacting you should this happen to one of us in the future. Heck, you can even set up a google voice phone number if you do not have a cell phone at all. At least we can somehow leave a message (besides this forum) to let you know something happened to your account.

Jin

I have my authenticator. My characters are too nice to let someone sully them.

I have an authenticator!
FYI: My hubby (Michael) tends to play on my account so if you're ever not sure if it's me or not, just send him a whisper. He is a nice guy. He plays "Leikr" on another server for those of you on my Battlenet account. If he doesn't respond he might be tanking an instance.

Jin- I'll send you my contact info in a PM.

If I get hacked (not likely, I've an authenticator and a lot of paranoia) you can always contact me via Facebook, I may not be near a computer, but I always have my phone on me, which is also my facebook/browser/etc....

Incidentally, the free authenticator app for phones? Totally awesome. Get it.

Also, I use the free authenticator for the iphone/ipod touch as well. I have it linked to a second account as well.

But that would involve having the proper kind of phone!

Bleah, I didn't think about that enough before typing it. We have a landline; it's pulse dialing and doesn't run any apps or anything though.
