Admittedly, for me, it's all life outside of WoW, but I'm sure I'll re-up again sooner or later. I seem to go in cycles.

That said, I know I'm not friended up with some of you on Facebook (PM me if you wanna), and that I haven't been hanging out in chat like I used to, so I thought a quicky "Hello!" was due.

Lets see...

Got laid off May of 2010, I'm still unemployed
Refocused on schooling and finished my Associates Degree (finally)
-Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts & Sciences with an Emphasis on Language Arts (oy, whatta mouthful)
I start Cal State Fullerton and my B.A. in the Fall (Spanish with a minor in Chicano Studies).
Moved into a house that still feels too good to be true (No, seriously, other houses nearby rent for almost $1,000 a month /more/)
FINALLY finished restoring my Neo Geo MVS Cabinet ( Slideshow )
Finally got me an UltraSaber ( Slideshow UltraSabers )
Eagerly awaiting the birth of my first child (boy, due July 9, but the missus is due to pop /any/ day now).

Ummm, that's it mostly. Summer should be interesting. I miss hopping into WoW with folks, but I dunno that I miss WoW just yet. All in all, life has been very kind to us this year. I hope life's been decent to you folks as well.

Tina is the planner in our family (That's The Lovely Wife's™ actual name...), my job is "be the guy who adapts on the fly to WTF?". The best advice I can offer though is, "Roll with it", it's different for everyone.

Additionally, things I have learned:

use cloth diapers, they're way cheaper and better for the kid in the long run
Protein Powder drinks are a godsend if he decides to stop eating solid food
DO NOT try the "go ahead and try this, you'll hate it" strategy to get the kid to stop asking for your coffee. It backfires.
teething is hell, there is no way around it.
make your own baby food, it's dead easy, and will save you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars over the course of the "feed the kid mooshy food" stage.
we live in the internet age, take lots of blackmail photos.
