Hey everyone,
I know I mentioned to some of you that I was deploying, and I have made it out here safely. I know it was a concern that I wouldn't be able to play while I'm out here (and rightfully so), but with some testing it appears that I still can. So hooray!
That having been said, I probably won't be seen as much for a few reasons. For one, work days are longer out here, so that means less "me time", and more of that may be spent checking on my dear wife. Secondly, where I am is 10 hours ahead of server time so, depending on my schedule, I may or may not be around when others usually are.
Finally, latency over here is a little higher on CC (as one might expect), so I don't know if I'll be doing much by way of raiding or dungeons while out here. That's okay, though! I was actually considering focusing a little more on story and/or RP while out here, and now that I know that I can still get on over here, I know that certainly is a viable alternative. I hope I'll get to make some progress in that regard, such as through hosting a storytelling.
So, I'd better get writing! For now, I'm well (jet-lag aside), and hope to still see some of you around.
