I find this turn of events to be entirely acceptable!

Tank: "Why do you keep dying and not healing me?"

Me: "I had like 4 or 5 adds on me."

Tank: "Where are you standing?"

Me: "Trying to stand near a chain in case I get the body slam."

'You have been removed from the group.'

......Really?

I'm starting to really dislike running pugs with guild groups other than my own, because that's just bs.

I too will chime in on the whole Zandalar is pain while pugging. Darba and I were queueing the other day with Martok as heals and Laurawen as dps, trying to get her some more gear, and we just kept getting tanks that would bail after one or two wipes, and dps that couldn't quite pull their weight. It wasn't so much that people were asses, but it was like nobody had any patience. We spent a good two hours in ZA, waiting patiently for queues as people bailed and only made it part way through. Then we ran ZG and fought with Venoxis for about an hour before finally getting through it, only to fail ultimately at mandokir. It really kinda sucks as healer because I find the tanks seem to always blame failure on heals, rather than it being a dps issue, or a tank issue, or just tough luck.

On a positive note, we finally succeeded the other night and Laura got the bow from Jin'do. It was very satisfying to finally down that place with a pug after trying so much. I am still afraid to pug that place as a tank though, but I have no problem tanking for a guild group heh.

Yeah. I don't feel like ZG, especially, was designed for PuGs. The fights take understanding and communication, which most PuGs greatly lack. I mean, ZA needs understanding the fights too, but not as much. I bet both would be just fine in a PuG if they, you know, TALKED and LISTENED.

I've had pretty good luck with ZA/ZG randoms. There's been a few times where people have been new and needed fights explained, and we may have taken a few extra wipes. But, almost always, folks have been fairly patient about it (or they've just left the group without making a big fuss).

The single biggest issue I've seen is tanks bailing after the first two bosses in ZA. Apparently, Blizzard put all (or most) of the tank loot in the first half of the instance.
