WoW's Facebook timeline picture changed to show the release date, so I guess it's not just rumor then.

...Well, shoot. I'd better get writing, that was a lot sooner than I anticipated.

Put down pre-orders on two CE's for the missus and I.

I'll be baaaaack (to harass you all and drink your beer).

I'm guessing I'll just buy a regular, digital copy. Digital, particularly because getting a software copy may or may not be a little tricky for me right now. Regular, because in the past the main reason I would buy the collector's edition is for the soundtrack, and nowadays it seems you can just get the soundtrack at or around the same time off the iTunes or Blizzard stores.

I'll probably grab the Digital Collector's Edition.

I figure that an extra $15 for the pet and mount isn't bad at all, considering they'd probably go for something like $40 total if sold separately in the Blizzard store.

I preordered the a Collector's Edition for the soundtrack. I don't have an iTunes account and like CDs anyway, and not getting them when they are released seems chancy. They still haven't made Burning Crusade's soundtrack available on disc since release.

I'm not sure if I want to come back or not. In the event that I change my mind and do return, I will just take my chance as always and just pick it up at a local Best Buy or Fry's. I have never pre-ordered any of the CE's in the past and I have been lucky every time when I go to the store and pick up a CE version.

I keep going back and forth on pre-ordering. At this point, I'm half picking up a CE just to have the set. I'll probably "play" for a few months, then stop, as per usual. Fry's is often the way to go. Even if they don't have CE right at release, within a week they usually have a whole shelf lined with them.

Yep. Fry's has a bunch of CE for Cata still on their shelves here in Houston. I think I'm gonna pick up the CE edition now cause I'm a sucker for soundtracks. I do want to complete my collection. I did miss out on the first one cause I started WoW one year after it was released.

The Theramore scenario is supposed to be active today if anyone was planning to do it before the expansion.

If nothing else, a new WoW expansion is a chance for me to catch up on Internet memes I've somehow missed (oo-oo-ooah-ooah-oh-oh).
